City Dogs Rescue is in immediate need for dry kibble for puppies and dogs,
leashes of any size, as well as large dog crates - wire or plastic.
We can accept open bags as long as the food is still in good condition and not expired.

City Dogs Rescue (CDR) is a no-kill, cageless facility that serves to help place homeless dogs into forever, loving homes. We are staffed 24 hours a day, and our dogs, run, jump and play to their hearts content! We provide our dogs with all the love and care they need to succeed as great pets for new, loving owners. Our adoption process is professional and thorough, as we seek to match dogs and owners for optimal success.

Walter is a 1-2 year old male Australian Shepherd / Lab / husky mix. He's a gentle guy who is very friendly. He's cratetrained and is learning basic commands. He gets along well with other dogs, but has not yet been tested around cats or children. Walter enjoys being scratched under his chin and behind his ears and loves going on walks, car rides or other types of adventures! Walter's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neutering operation, required vaccinations, free vet visit after adoption, training DVD and more!

SABRINA **AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!!**
Sabrina is an 11 week old female yellow lab mix. She is possibly a lab / corgi mix. She is pretty much just the most adorable little girl ever! Sabrina is not yet housetrained and does not yet know basic commands, but she is very intelligent, very willing to please, and should learn quickly. Sabrina will be a medium-sized adult dog. Sabrina gets along well with other dogs of all sizes. She has not been tested with cats or children, but we think she would do well with both if exposed early on. Sabrina's adoption fee is $285 and includes age appropriate shots, spay operation, free vet visit after adoption and training DVD. Please review how to adopt, our adoption requirements for puppies and our very limited adoption area prior to emailing us about setting up a visitation appointment for Sabrina. America is a young female purebred Australian Shepherd. She was turned into a rural pound after she became pregnant and her family could not afford to take care of her. America is trained in agility and has won several competitions. She is very obedient and knows all basic commands. She is housetrained and just a big sweetheart! America gets along with other dogs, but prefers the company of humans. She has not yet been tested with cats, but does like to chase birds in the yard. She has not yet been tested with children. America's adoption fee is $275 and includes her spay operation, required vaccinations, free vet visit after adoption and a training DVD. Damien is a 1.5 year old male, purebred Siberian husky. This gorgeous guy is great on the leash and doesn't pull. He gets along with other well-behaved dogs. Damien does not get along well with cats. He enjoys being in the company of people and loves attention. Like most huskies, Damien likes to think he's the alpha dog and therefore would best be suited for applicants with previous experience with artic breeds or working dogs. Damien really enjoys being around children, but he gets pretty excited when playing with kids and would do best in a home with older children. Preference will be given to applicants with experience owning huskies who are looking for a loyal, intelligent companion to share their love and home with.
